·         I think a documentary is a factual TV show which can be about a vary of subjects. It has to provide the viewer with facts and information on the subject.
·         Documentary like plays, novels, poems are fictional in form and have no measurable social utility.

Differences
·         All of the definition of the word documentary includes actual facts and presentation.
·         Captures real life.

·         Some documentaries are true and some are not (non proven , exaggerated).
·         They change the way we think about certain things.

·         Road wars. – Cautious not to get into criminal activity.
·         Ice road truckers. – Worried for the drivers.
·         Traffic cops. – Proud of the police and happy the drivers get caught.
·         9/11. – Upset as they show horrific pictures and videos.
·         Babies behind the bars. –
·         BBC news. – Gives us information on what’s happening around the world.
·         Toddlers and Tiaras. -
·         Proud pushy parents.
·         Super nanny.
·         Supersize vs Superskinny.
·         Embarrassing teenage bodies.
·         Rhodes Farm.
·         Danna: 8 year old anorexic.
·         Crime watch.
·         Homicide life on the street.
